Roanoke AVCNA Committee invites us to join them to organize the upcoming 2026 convention in Roanoke Va. If you are interested they are having a meeting on Saturday, October 19th at 10:00 am at 200 S Maple Street, Vinton, Va. Open positions for the AVCNA Event are as follows: Convention Information Chair, Programming Chair, & Hospitality Chair. Experience is nice but not required and there is a clean time requirement for each position. Please contact Kate G if interested and she will point you in the right direction. THE FIRST FUNDRAISER EVENT will be a Spaghetti dinner and Bingo on Saturday, November 2nd, from 1 pm – 5 pm at Vinton Baptist Church, 219 E Washington Ave, Vinton Va 24179. The price to get in is $10. There will be holding a 50/50 raffle. ALL PROCEEDS FUND THE AVCNA.

Thursday, October 31st, The Doors Open group is celebrating their 3 years anniversary as a home group and will be hosting a pizza party with home group members speaking in the beginning of the meeting about how important the home group is to them and about any experience they’ve had with the group. Come out and enjoy some recovery and pizza. This meeting will go from 7 pm – 8:30 pm.

KTF is asking for home groups to please donate at least $20 from the group to help cover the cost of this event. Unity is key to our recovery.
